Why the hell this discrimination???

Will Reservation Decide our Fate??????
Through this article, I would like to ask a simple question to all those, who in any way, are associated to the cause which made this question, arise.

Day in and day out, since I was born, a word Reservation attracted my attention always. I was just 5 years old, elections to the Legislative Assembly were taking place, I asked my mom that why not anybody from my family was contesting elections??? Mom said because our constituency is reserved. A boy of just 5 years, who can hardly make any decisions, simply took it for granted that Reserved means something bad, which was stopping his closed ones from contesting an election.

Was it just Jessica????

The Jessica lall case was very well depicted and brought into limelight by the recent movie: “No One Killed Jessica”. The movie is the actual depiction of the chain of events which took place in this case from the filing of an FIR in this case in 1999 until the final decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in 2010. But the question uppermost in our mind is that was it just Jessica? Was it only this case which required so much media attention ultimately leading to a title of a bollywood movie which is assumed to be a super hit one? In our society, we still have many other cases and issues in our country which too require media attention and require to be considered upon by the public at large. Is media righteous in these issues as well?

The alphabet 'i' got me placement. :)

Hi Friends,
I have a simple question for you all. Can the alphabet 'i' in iPhone provide you with Campus
Various MNCs in India
Placement????

The simple answer from your side would be a big NO.
But, here, in my case, it did.

On 10th November 2011, a software development company came to our Campus at Baru Sahib and while the HR was addressing the pool of 230 students and presenting his company profile, the word iPhone appeared on one of the ppt slides.

He asked the students, "Can anyone tell me, what alphabet 'i' means in an iPhone?". There was a shrill silence in the auditorium. Taking note of the situation, he said, "The person who will give the answer will be exempted from appearing in the Aptitude Test and will directly reach the Group Discussion round".

Is UPA Govt. really of the people, for the people, by the people???

After many years in the history of free India, any government was selected by the people to rule the nation
UPA Achievements in terms of Corruption
for a second consecutive term. India gave UPA (United Progressive Alliance) a second chance, in 2009, to control and manage the administration of the world’s largest democracy. But I am sure people may defiantly be repenting upon their decision.
The central UPA government which boasted of a slogan “CONGRESS KA HAATH, AAM AADMI KE SAATH” has changed the actual meaning of this slogan. On one side, the nation is reeling under financial crunch with the inflation rate reaching all time high, poor man dying due to his inability to secure a two time bare meal for himself. Whereas, on the other side, Cabinet rank Ministers and other organization heads are busy filling their houses, (sorry houses would be a very small term to use, so better say their Swiss Bank Accounts) with the lakhs of crores of rupees simply stolen from the national exchequer. Multi lakh crore 2G spectrum scam, multi crore CWG scam are world famous and few to mention. In the UPA govt, we can barely find a minister who is in possession of assets less than crores of rupees and is free from any scam or corruption charges. But still, on the issue of inflation the government officials comment that we are trying our level best and it is not in our hands. Shame on the Government of India. Is the Prime Minister not answerable for his council of ministers?

What can be done when the ‘law makers’ themselves become ‘law breakers’?

The Honourable Supreme Court should intervene in the best possible way and take a control over this pitiable situation of our country. All these ‘criminals’ be thrown behind the bars for this unpardonable crime of looting the National Exchequer, which comprises of the hard-earned money of Indian middle class. The person found guilty of corruption should be awarded capital punishment.

Tallest Lord Hanuman statue in the World at Jakhoo, Shimla

108 feet tall idol of Lord Hanuman Ji
at Jakhoo Temple, Shimla.
"Pavantanaye Sankat Haran;
Mangal Moorati Roop,
Raam Lakhan Sita Sahit;
Hridaye Basahun Sur Bhoop."

A wonder in itself, an idol with such a magnificence, grace and purity. I am talking about none other than, a newly created wonder of the world: The Tallest Idol of Lord Hanuman Ji, at the highest ever altitude of 8000 feet (2455 mtrs) above the sea level. Jakhoo Hill is the highest hill of Shimla city. This idol of Lord Hanuman Ji is 108 feet in height. With the erection of this statue, Jakhoo Temple, already world famous for its sacredness and sanctity, has added a priceless gem to its name. The installation of this idol has created a new World record of being the tallest statue ever erected at such a high altitude.

With the blessings of Lord Hanuman Ji, the foundation stone for this idol was laid on 27th October 2008, on the occassion Hanuman Jayanti by Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh.

Within a short stipulated span of 2 years, this magnificient structure was created. And now, it is before us, unveiled on 4th November 2010 by Prof. Dhumal, in the presence of Mr. Abhishek Bachchan, Actor and Mr. H. C. Nanda, Founder of Nanda Trust, the most lucky and privilaged Trust to have undertaken this mammoth task by funding this multi-crore project in the name of the almighty.

I don't find anybody as lucky and privilaged as Mr. Nanda, because Lord Hanuman ji gave him this precious opportunity to have constructed this idol, which is visible from as far as 7 kilometres in the dia of Jakhoo Temple.

Self generated ancient murti of
Lord Hanuman ji at Jakhoo Temple
As per Hindu mythology, the authentic source, Shri Ramacharit Manas composed by Goswami Tulsidas ji,
During war against Ravan, when Lord Lakshman (younger brother of Lord Ram) fell unconscious due to the supernatural effects of a vaana (arrow) aimed by Megnad (son of Ravan), then to bring him back to life, Lord Hanuman went to the Himalayas to fetch the Sanjivani booti (life giving herb). On his way, he rested for a bit at the Jakhoo Hill, where Rishi Yaako was performing spiritual meditation (tapasya). The divine and sacred footsteps of Lord Hanuman Ji are still kept safe in the Temple complex. The divine self generated idol (Saakshaat murti) of Lord Hanuman Ji enhances the glory and sanctity of the Sanctum Sanctorium (Gabh Griha) of the Jakhoo Temple.

It is a authentic and experienced belief that whosoever comes to this temple, with strong faith in the core of his heart, gets whatever he desires for.

May Lord Hanuman Ji fulfil all your dreams and meaningful desires. And please make it a point to visit this temple and view this magnificient piece of sculpture art if you haven't done it yet.
